The SX-1 Plasma Knee Protector features a Plasma Knee Protector embedded into a highly ventilated semi-rigid frame construction for superior impact protection, while the integrated Dual Gear System (DGS) promotes the natural articulation of the knee.

- Nucleon Plasma: Features a Nucleon Plasma knee protector that is constructed from a USDA BIOBASED certified viscoelastic material, which is molded into a structure that is pliable in all directions while maintaining the ability to dissipate impact energy.
- Dual density co-injected frame for a supportive structure with unrivaled comfort and adaptability: Engineered with a scooped lower extension made from a soft polymeric blend to avoid any pressure points associated with a hard edge from occurring as a result of the boot pushing against the protector.
- The same scooped design is also applied to the upper extension, and this prevents the protector digging into the skin and causing discomfort while riding.
- Controlled natural movement: DGS Dual Gear System, both the upper and lower frames have integrated gear profiles that ensure a smooth hinge function to promote the natural articulation of the knee.
- The ergonomically sculptured frames of the SX-1 Plasma Knee Protector feature strategically positioned over injected rigid and flexible shells to ensure the frames adapt to a wide variety of leg circumferences.
