Dri Rider Vortex Adventure 2 Womens Jacket - Grey/Black
A premium 3/4 length adventure jacket designed to tackle any Australian environment, with thermal liner, waterproof/breathable liner and rugged construction. The outer shell of the Vortex Adventure 2 is constructed of 900D with 1200D on the shoulders and elbows. This extremely high grade of polyester ensures superb abrasion resistance due to its tensile strength; having two strengths of material, with a stronger blend in the high impact areas, provides additional protection in the event of a crash. Utilising a safety stitch system in all seams is another method of ensuring the jacket will stay together when it counts. CE rated armour is found in the elbows and shoulders, with a high density foam pad in the rear to mitigate spinal injuries on impact. All armour can be upgraded to CE Level 2 for maximum protection. The removable/breathable waterproof liner is Dririder's highest performing liner, rated at 15,000/7,000mm. This is among the industry's highest standards, preventing strong water ingress through the jacket's material and allowing a high level of breathability. This is important as without the 7,000mm rating, riders will become hot and sweaty. The high breathability rating means heat naturally generated by the body is able to escape and the body can regulate its temperature adequately. The 150g quilted thermal liner is easily removable so you can be toasty warm on those cold mornings or winter days, yet comfortable on summer rides. For those extra cold days in the saddle, the detatchable throat coat covers the neck from wind and the elements. Large chest air vents draw cool air in and extracts hot air out the rear exhaust vent system. Additional vents are located on the arms for extra thermal relief. To make moving around on the bike easy, the arms and shoulders include power stretch material so any riding position is comfortable. Adjusters on the waist and arms ensure a comfortable fit tailored to your body. Suitable for any adventure, the Vortex Adventure 2 includes multiple pockets on the front, rear and internals to keep your valuables safe. Matching Vortex Adventure 2 pants also available. ?
